This is a conversation space exclusively for subscribers—kind of like a group chat or live hangout. I’ll post questions and updates that come my way, and you can jump into the discussion.

Get the Substack app by clicking this link or the button below. New chat threads won’t be sent sent via email, so turn on push notifications so you don’t miss conversation as it happens. You can also access chat on the web.
Open the app and tap the Chat icon. It looks like two bubbles in the bottom bar, and you’ll see a row for my chat inside.

Even though I have lost every thing I do not plan on quitting my life. I just got to learn something new and do things different since what I. Have done in the past no longer works for me. Why We Lie to Our Mirrors
Mirrors don’t just reflect but they lie, or at least, we let them. Every morning we convince ourselves of a story: that we look productive, confident, strong, or happy. But the reflection is not the truth, it’s a performance we’ve rehearsed. The real question isn’t what the mirror shows, but what we’ve been pretending is real. What story are you feeding yourself in the reflection, and how long have you believed it without questioning?
